Modern Hippy Campsite is a small campsite set in a spacious orchard in Toldijk, in the heart of the Achterhoek.
With only 10 pitches spread across around 10,000 m², there is plenty of room between you and your neighbours. No rows of caravans or tightly packed pitches, but your own place among fruit trees, long grass and winding paths.
Come with your tent, campervan or caravan, slow things down for a few days and enjoy the space around you.
Every pitch has its own character, with plenty of space and privacy. Some are sunnier, some more sheltered and some are especially suitable for campers or larger camping setups.
One of our favourite parts of camping is sitting outside around a fire in the evening. Each pitch has its own fire pit, so you can enjoy a fire right at your campsite when conditions allow.
Back to nature does not have to mean giving up a good shower. Our sanitary building has hot rain showers, toilets, indoor washbasins and outdoor washing-up facilities.
Our family farm shop, De Kruisbrink, is located directly next to the campsite.
Here you’ll find fresh produce from our own land, local and organic products, bread, cheese, meat, dairy, drinks and plenty of good things for breakfast, dinner or an evening around the fire.
There is plenty of space to do your own thing. Read a book outside your tent, sit by the fire or spend the day exploring the Achterhoek.
And if you feel like meeting other travellers, there is room for that too.
The campsite is a great starting point for cycling, walking and discovering the countryside, villages and towns of the Achterhoek. Zutphen is also within easy reach.
